Inflatable side sweep system for a single vessel
The Egersund Markleen Side Sweep is a simple and easy to use solution for the mechanical recovery of oil slicks on water following a spill.

The Side Sweep system is made up of a several short sections of inflatable oil containment boom with a ballast chain which are set up in a U shape, and fixed to an arm coming off perpendicularly from a vessel and resting on a float at the outside end.

The Side Sweep system is used with the vessel in motion, therefore making it ideal for picking up spilled oil over a large area.
